delias-sculpture-preorder
Delia's Sculpture - Preorder

You are ordering a PRE-ORDER piece. You can choose a mug, tumbler, travel mug, spoon rest or tea bag rest.

Please note, make time is approximately 12 weeks, and these preorders will ship in the new year. It may take longer than 12 weeks (I try my best to stay on track and on time, but ceramics can be finicky). Creating these pieces is a process filled with planning, head down intention and endless excitement! I am truly excited to make every single one and I love imagining you receiving your piece, hopefully with a squeal (if you're prone to squealing with excitement as I am)!

When you buy a piece from Potter by the Sea you're investing in a one of a kind, hand-made, wheel thrown and hand carved piece of art - seriously from my heart to yours. I make pottery because I'm living my 'one day' now, and with you in real time.

Mugs and tumblers hold approximately 16oz, give or take an ounce or 2. Your piece is technically dishwasher and microwave safe unless it has gold accents. Pieces with gold must be handwashed and never microwaved. Either way, this is a piece of art! I recommend handwashing and drying gently. Do not let your piece soak in dirty dish water, as it can stain the bare ceramic over time.

Your piece will be made in the design you selected, with its own handmade differences. Sometimes the kiln has a little extra snark, colours turn out subtly different, and size and shape vary a bit on the wheel. My work is always growing with me, and small changes reflect that learning from collection to collection.

Thank you for joining me on the journey of following my art-heart!!

To my American friends:

A bag of Canadian classic Hawkins Cheezies will be included in every American order. A little tariff relief package, if you will. 🇨🇦

Unfortunately, I can't predict exactly what tariffs, duties, taxes or customs fees might be charged when your package crosses the border. These charges are determined by U.S. customs authorities and shipping carriers, and can change without notice.

Any import duties, tariffs, taxes, brokerage fees or customs clearance charges assessed on your order are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in your purchase price or shipping fee. You may receive a separate bill from the carrier before or after delivery.

Thank you for continuing to support my little Canadian studio through this deeply unhinged chapter in history. I know this is one more unnecessary thing being added to your plate, and I'm grateful every time you choose to have a piece of my work cross the border to you.
