About me

Hi, my name is Karyna. I began learning pottery in early 2021 after moving from Alberta to Newfoundland with my family. My dream has always been to be a 'Potter by the Sea' and so here I am. For the first time I am living an intentionally creative life, something I'd told myself I couldn't have until I was retired. 

4 heart attacks in my 30's caused by SCAD reminded me that 'someday' doesn't always bless us with an appearance. The best we can do is fill every day we have here with our version of a great life and pottery has become a consuming passion of mine. Thank you for joining me, both in support of scad research with every purchase of a scad piece and this dream life I'm lucky to call mine.
