My first SCAD heart attack struck at age 33. By the time I had another, more severe heart attach at 35, I knew something had to give. Any one of these heart attacks, future number and severity unknown, could be the one to cut my life and dreams short. Those someday dreams of living in Newfoundand, being an artist by the sea, they needed to be moved up on the list. So at 37 we moved from northern Alberta to the east coast and I began soon after to teach myself pottery - during the pandemic. 1000's of mugs and 2 more heart attacks later, here we are. There is more than one something to be said for living as though tomorrow isn't promised and while I'm still working on the little things like being more patient, work\/life balance and regular belly laughs with my loved ones, the big things are on track. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOkay so all that said, I started this journey with SCAD mugs.
